Will this work with my Enphase microinverters?

Yes. Sol-Ark is specifically designed to AC couple with Enphase IQ7 and IQ8 microinverters. Your existing panels and microinverters stay exactly where they are. Sol-Ark connects to the AC side and controls Enphase output via frequency shifting — no rewiring needed.

How long does the installation take?

Typically 1–2 days for a PowerUp Upgrade. We install the Sol-Ark inverter, mount the battery, wire the critical load panel, and configure everything. The longest part is usually the permit process (2–4 weeks), not the physical install.

I have a 5kW generator. Is that enough?

Probably not with a battery system. The Sol-Ark draws power for your home AND charges the battery simultaneously. A 5kW generator can't handle both loads. We recommend minimum 8kW for a 12K system. If your current generator is undersized, we'll help you choose the right replacement as part of the design.

Do I still need to deal with My Generation Energy?

No. Your existing My Generation solar installation stays exactly as-is. We add the battery + Sol-Ark layer on top. Both systems coexist — Enphase handles solar production, Sol-Ark handles storage and backup. You'll have two monitoring apps: Enphase Enlighten and MySolArk.
